Fondant Cake Design Wedding Cake Booking Process
STEP 1
CHECK OUR AVAILABILITY. Once you have your wedding date it’s important to secure your preferred suppliers. We require 3-4 months notice however it’s never too early to book your wedding cake with us. we only except a limited number of booking each year so please book early to avoid disappointment. Our 2026 & 2027 diary is open.
STEP 2
BOOK A CONSULTATION. Online or in person consultations are available on a monthly basis. We can discuss all aspects of your wedding cake from size options to suit the number of guests, design elements and flavour combinations. During this time we can discuss your wedding cake budget and I can guide you through the different options to stay within your preferred price range.
STEP 3
CAKE TASTING- THE FUN BIT!
We have cake tasting boxes available to purchase for £25. These are filled with 5 generous slices of our most popular flavours. These can be pre ordered for your consultation date so they are ready for you to take home and try in the comfort of your own home. If you aren’t from the local area and require an online consultation, these can be posted out to you at an additional charge.
STEP 4
A detailed sketch will be emailed across to you showing your custom wedding cake design. This will incorporate all the elements we discuss during your consultation. You will also receive a written quote which includes the cake price, delivery charge and set up fee.
STEP 5
SECURE YOUR DATE
We require a 50% non refundable booking fee to secure your wedding date. This is only possible if you know what design you’d like upon booking. However if you are unsure of the style to choose but would like to secure your date with me, you can do so with a £100 non refundable payment. Once you have your design consultation and you are happy with your final cake design, size & price, I can invoice the remainder of the 50% booking fee. The final balance is due one month before your wedding date.
AS PART OF OUR SERVICE, THE DAY BEFORE, A PHOTOGRAPH OF YOUR FINISHED CAKE WILL BE SENT TO YOU. THIS GIVES YOU A FIRST LOOK TO ENSURE YOU ARE HAPPY WITH THE FINAL DISIGN.
ON THE MORNING OF THE WEDDING WE WILL DELIVER AND SET UP YOUR CAKE. MAKING SURE IT’S READY FOR YOU AND YOUR GUESTS TO ENJOY.
